Wendy asks Danny to do a favor by taking care of her dog, Matisse, while she takes a weekend trip. To impress Wendy, Danny sends Matisse to a dog-training school. Danny doesn't know that Matisse is replaced by a robot dog that looks like it until until he noticed it's behavior. It's up to MBC to save Matisse and beat the robot dogs.

- In Toon Disney US and Disney Channel Asia, "Dog Daze" was the second episode premiered after "Mindreader".
- It is rare for a chihuahua like Matisse to have a blue fur.
- Cathy doesn't notice that John will send to one of the 67 galaxies if she aren't careful using her Molecular Beam Transporter.
- Chris won Science Fair three years in a row.
- Cathy is allergic to more than two pets but one or two is at least okay. She doesn't tell what kind of pets she's allergic to (aside from dogs). Even the pigeons in Singletown are considered as pets.
- She received that allergy 250 years ago (Rhapsodian years) in Rhapsodia-7. She even says that her aunt Zirium (Mr. Smith's daughter?) shares the same allergy.
- This is not the first time Danny uses his nickname "The Danny". He first mentioned it in the episode "The Trouble With Troublemaking".
- Chris says that he detected the trace code YTV 640. It's a reference of YTV, the TV channel where the show aired in Canada.
- Cathy's footprint is square after she kick the mutant Matisse's belly.
